Position Summary/Overview:
The Assistant Radiation Safety Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the University and VCU Health maintain compliance with state and federal requirements that apply to research and medical applications of radioactive materials and radiation-producing devices. Operating with minimal supervision, the ARSO leads complex projects and serves as a technical expert across multiple functional areas.
