Position Summary:

The Curriculum Coordinator supports a collaborative content development team in the design, development, and execution of the Association's education programs. This position is ideal for someone with experience supporting the design and delivery of virtual learning collaboratives, eLearning modules (SCORMs), courses, and instructional videos.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

  • Support the development of scripts that demonstrate a logical sequence suitable for delivery of content that engages adult learners (module, video, game, scenario, etc.).
  • Coordinate the organization of content and assist in creating storyboards to visualize the flow of instruction.
  • Assist with the development of courses and materials using Adobe, Vimeo, Articulate (Rise and Storyline), and Microsoft PowerPoint while adhering to the ADDIE Model.
  • Assist with pilot testing and troubleshooting issues with eLearning products/projects.
  • Collaborate to maintain a deep understanding of instructional design as it ties to overall learning strategy, learner engagement, and program goals under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Education and Programs.

Secondary functions and responsibilities:

  • Maintain a working knowledge of ACCME accreditation requirements and standards, ensuring that educational content is aligned with these requirements.
  • Coordinate and support the development of training programs for staff and volunteer onboarding.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned, ensuring smooth operations of the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree- Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in instructional design

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with and knowledge of instructional design principles, strategies, and adult learning theory.
  • Proven ability to support the implementation of professional online learning content using Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline) and other digital tools.
  • Strong ability to collaborate as part of a team and work independently as needed.
  • Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Small, fast paced open office environment with moderate noise levels. Use of phones and computers for extended periods of time. Utilize office equipment and communication technologies for conference calls and teleconference meetings/webinars. Requires general mobility to move through the facility. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Frequent interaction with internal staff and physician members/board via phone, in person, email and other mediums. Normal sitting and standing activities for an office environment. Some travel required to meetings at times lasting three to five days per trip.
