Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and materials, with the ability to work on both residential and commercial projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying equipment.
Perform drywall installation and repair tasks to ensure smooth surfaces before painting.
Utilize hand tools effectively for caulking and other finishing touches.
Read blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements accurately.
Collaborate with construction Project Managers to assess project needs and timelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Provide high-quality workmanship that meets or exceeds client expectations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of application techniques.
Familiarity with various painting materials and tools, including airless paint sprayers.
Experience in concrete finishing, stucco application, drywall work, caulking, and blueprint reading is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality results.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Pay: $17.50 - $26.00 per hour
