Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and renovation, demonstrating proficiency in various painting techniques and an eye for detail. This role requires the ability to work on construction sites and perform tasks that contribute to the overall aesthetic and functionality of residential or commercial spaces.

Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Renovate and remodel spaces by working with hand tools and performing trim carpentry as required.
Utilize basic math skills to calculate measurements and quantities of materials needed for projects.
Understand color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate colors for their projects.
Perform caulking and plastering tasks to ensure smooth finishes on surfaces.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.

Experience
Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.
Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in painting and renovation projects.
Knowledge of trim carpentry techniques is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
