A highly respected, multibillion-dollar food and beverage manufacturer is seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Manager to lead food safety and quality assurance operations at one of its largest and most visible flagship plants. This is a critical leadership role managing a team of over 50 employees, with direct responsibility for regulatory compliance, audit readiness, training, continuous improvement, and cross-functional support across the organization.

Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all plant operations meet internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations (FDA, FSMA, CFIA).
Audit Leadership: Manage HACCP, SQF, and other food safety programs. Serve as site liaison for audits, inspections, and certifications.
Team Management: Lead, train, and mentor a large quality team. Promote a plant-wide culture of food safety and quality ownership.
Training Programs: Maintain robust onboarding and annual training in GMPs, food safety, and quality standards.
Continuous Improvement: Track KPIs, lead initiatives to reduce customer complaints, and implement preventative measures.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, R&D, and Sales to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
Supplier Quality: Partner with Corporate QA to evaluate vendor performance and ensure corrective actions.
Documentation & SOPs: Maintain accurate SOPs, manage quality documentation, and oversee departmental budgeting.
Sanitation & Monitoring: Oversee sanitation protocols, pest control, and environmental monitoring programs.
10+ years of experience in food or beverage quality assurance
5+ years of leadership experience managing large teams
Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, SQF, food allergens, and microbiology
Experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
Background in large-scale manufacturing (plants with 350+ employees)
Experience with canned products (e.g., soda, water, fruits, vegetables) is a strong plus
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
